Should You Eat Breakfast Before or After a Workout?


Don't worry about whether you're burning fat or not. At the end of the day it all boils down to calories burned vs. calories eaten. You need to fuel your body prior to exercise so you can get the most out of your workout - try something light like 1/2 yogurt, piece of fruit or 1/2 smoothie an hour before you run, then eat a solid breakfast like eggs with veggies, or oatmeal with fruit, within 2 hours post-exercise.
